Like I suggested on an earlier post, perhaps looking into a different aspect of the market, even the commodities market might be interesting (or at least an adventure of sorts). If you pick a market which is suitably small (perhaps the new cloths or old world enchanting mats) you might be able to manage it and make a profit without investing any more time than you do now. What it might entail though is using more tools than your have in the past, namely auctioneer. I know you have been hesitant to use it in the past but I think you'll find that it would organize a lot of information for you in ways impossible or at best unwieldy without a mod.

Thanks Robin. With 1500g, even while you're playing other areas, I would still be on the lookout for 80 epics that are low priced... you may just double your money. But they'd have to be those that aren't the common ones of course.

I haven't actually tried the 70 epic market since Lich King but have looked and see a lot of stagnation there. There isn't a lot of demand or bidding going on as far as I can tell. Prices seem to be all over but it seems as though the higher priced 70 epics aren't selling and for good reason.

With that money I would continue to look at rare armor lvl 70-80, non crafted, as well as weapons. It'll take a lot of sifting through the crafted stuff but people will pay to be different.

Yes the competition is high occasionally but look out for those items especially that seem to be on their own. Good luck and let me know how it goes. You might also try looking for deals in the new decks such as undeath, prisms, nobles.

Hey Tyson,
I really enjoyed your podcast and I have been checking your site ever since. Since Lich King came out, the AH-market on my server has really gone bananas. I just dont know where to make my profit anymore. Lvl 80 epics are few. Is there still any profit to be made on the lvl 70 epics?
The competition on rare mid 70:s items is tough, and uncommon items just dont seem to sell at all. To make things worse, I've only got about 1500g, and I dont want to risk it all on one sell. Any suggestions?

Anyway, I would like to see you try the commodities. Thanks for a great blog.
